1. Scope
This Policy applies to the iOS version of the App distributed via the Apple App Store. It also covers any in‑app events, features, and services provided by us within the App. If you access third‑party services (e.g., Apple Game Center), their own policies apply.
2. Information We Collect
We strive to collect only what we need to operate and improve the App.
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Account or profile information (optional): Display name, avatar, or nickname you set in‑game.
- Support communications: Email address and the content of messages you send to [email protected].
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, device model, OS version, language, time zone, in‑app actions (e.g., session length, screens viewed), and performance metrics.
- Gameplay and progression: Levels completed, deck choices, achievements, and in‑game economy balances to save your progress and balance gameplay.
- Crash and diagnostics data: Crash logs, error reports, and performance data to improve stability.
2.3 Purchases
In‑App Purchase (IAP) records: Purchase identifiers, product identifiers, and timestamps as provided by Apple to fulfill and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment details (e.g., full credit card numbers). Payments are processed by Apple.
2.4 Game Center (if you use it)
If you choose to sign in with Apple Game Center, Apple may share your Game Center ID, display name, and achievements with the App. This is controlled by your Apple settings.
2.5 Sign in with Apple (if you use it)
If the App offers Sign in with Apple, we may receive the email address that you choose to share (which may be a private relay address) and a unique user identifier.
2.6 Location data
We do not collect precise GPS location. We may infer a coarse location (e.g., country/region) from your IP address to comply with laws and regionalize content.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the App (including gameplay, saves, leaderboards, and IAP fulfillment).
- Maintain safety and integrity (fraud prevention, anti‑cheat, abuse detection).
- Fix bugs and improve performance (crash analytics and diagnostics).
- Analyze usage to balance gameplay, plan content, and improve user experience.
- Communicate with you about support requests and important notices.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Legal bases (EEA/UK only): performance of a contract (to provide the App); our legitimate interests (security, analytics, improvement); and consent where required (e.g., tracking/ATT, push notifications in certain jurisdictions).
4. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and Advertising
We do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising unless you explicitly opt‑in through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you deny tracking, the App will continue to function, but personalized ads (if any) will be disabled.
You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
6. International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you reside. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect personal data transferred internationally.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type (e.g., crash logs are typically retained for a shorter period than account or purchase records).
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (e.g., ATT tracking).
- Port your data in a structured, commonly used format.
To exercise rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
iOS controls: You can manage permissions and privacy settings in iOS Settings (notifications, tracking, Game Center, analytics & improvements, etc.).
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child provided us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third‑Party Services and Links
The App may include links to third‑party sites or integrate third‑party SDKs (e.g., analytics, crash reporting, Game Center). Their use of information is governed by their respective privacy policies. Review those policies for more details.
12. Do Not Track
Because industry standards are not uniform, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals. We honor platform‑specific privacy choices (e.g., ATT on iOS).
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy and update the “Effective date” above. Material changes may be communicated in‑app or via other appropriate means.
14. Contact Us
If you have questions or wish to exercise your privacy rights, contact us at: [email protected]
15. Apple App Store “App Privacy” Summary (for App Review)
The following reflects typical data categories for a casual/strategy game. Adjust if your configuration differs.
Data Linked to You (for app functionality and support):
- Contact Info: Email (support communications you send us)
- Identifiers: User ID or Game Center ID (if you enable Game Center)
- Purchases: Purchase history (IAP fulfillment and restore)
Data Not Linked to You (collected with privacy protections):
- Usage Data: Product interaction, in‑app events, session duration, screens viewed
- Diagnostics: Crash data, performance data
- Coarse Location: Country/region inferred from IP (compliance/localization)
Tracking: Disabled by default. If you present ATT and the user opts in, certain identifiers may be used for ad personalization or measurement, according to Apple’s policies and any integrated ad SDKs. If no ad SDKs are used, mark “No” for tracking.
Keep your App Store Connect entries consistent with your actual data practices and this Policy. If you add or remove SDKs (ads, analytics, attribution), update both accordingly.
